Starting on March 18, the Czech Republic government declared a state of emergency and all schools, shops and public places were closed.

Before May 25, the Czech government ordered citizens only to leave their house under the circumstances to go to work, grocery shop or meet with the family. Most importantly, citizens were only allowed to be in public spaces while wearing a face mask or be fined a maximum 10,000 Kč ($412.57).
